Once spring is in full swing, there is so much to get out and enjoy after the days begin to grow longer and warmer. So the last thing you need to do is worry about what makeup products you should have on hand to break out of your winter time blues. Instead of buying too much or not having the rights products, relax and enjoy the season because we have done the research for you giving you a great spring product must-haves list.
1. Essie Sand Tropez Nail Polish
New nail polish colors are a must-have for spring, and this year there are some really fun shades available. The Spring Collection from Essie has 6 really different shades for your nails, one of which is a beautiful soft, yet sandy, beige called Sand Tropez. I normally wear super-neutral nail polish, but I can't seem to get enough of this one. It's a great shade to use for spring, and the entire year!
2. Wet n Wild ColorIcon Eyeshadow in I Dream of Greenie
Spring time means vibrant hues of eyeshadow, and this year one of the hot colors happens to be bright green. Wet n Wild's ColorIcon Eyeshadow Trio in I Dream of Greenie is a perfect pick-me-up for spring. It gives three beautiful, yet vibrant, shades of green that won't leave your eyes looking like you work the corner. Instead it will add the perfect burst of chic green that yells "spring is finally hear!", all at a super-low price. So it's a win-win situation, where you have smashing eyes for spring and a few dollars left in your wallet for a new mascara.
3. Stila All Over Shimmer Liquid Luminizer
The recent looks on the runways and red carpet have been gorgeous glowing skin. Stila's All Over Shimmer Liquid Luminizer is great for giving your cheeks that perfect and fresh glow without making you look like you should be in Cirque du Soleil. The bonus is that you can use this shimmer liquid anywhere you want a little luminescence including your chest, shoulders, and eyes.
4. Metromint Chocolatemint Water
When you think of spring you don't normally think of water, but Metromint water is a must-have this season. We're supposed to drink up to eight glasses of water per day, so why not get two of those glasses every day with an added hint of chocolate and mint? Plus, the better hydrated your skin the better your makeup will look and wear throughout the day. So this spring go deeper than your makeup and make sure you have a well hydrated base for applying it first.
5. Estee Lauder's Pure Color Lip Gloss
Vibrant, yet sheer, lips are a big thing this spring, and Estee Lauder's Pure Color Lip Gloss is one of the most perfect lip glosses for getting that perfect vibrant pout. There are several lip smacking shades to choose from, and you’ll want to buy one of each because the color and feel are simply out of this world. This really is one of the best lip glosses to hit the market in a long time, so don’t wait to get yours because I’m 100% certain they will go fast.
6. DuWop Clear Revolotion Shimmering Self-Tannerq
If you want a self tanner that does it all, looks completely natural, has a natural sunscreen, and actually smells good then look no further! I honestly can't say enough about this self tanner. The end color is perfect, the scent is fresh and light, and you can use this cool blue gel over and over until you reach your desired level of tan without worrying about looking fake.
7. Ped Egg
Spring means sandals, which means that your feet need to look nice and not dry or peeling. In the past I've tried emery boards, foot cream treatments with socks, and other brands of manual exfoliator but most of them don't work very well. You have to remove the dead skin before you can moisturize effectively, and most devices don't capture the exfoliated skin which means that it's either on your floor or trapped in the device. The Ped Egg exfoliates gently while capturing the dead skin so you can toss it in the trash when you're done. I know it's an as-seen-on-TV product, but it really does work and is worth every penny.
8. Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula SPF15 Body Lotion
After a long cold winter your skin may be begging for moisture. I personally love Palmer's Cocoa Butter products, so when I found out that they have a body lotion with added sunscreen I was in heaven. Since spring means warmer days and more sun exposure an SPF is very important. The Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula SPF15 Body Lotion will work double-duty for you this spring by helping to alleviate your dry winter skin while protecting it with an SPF15.
9. Too Faced Peach Leopard Brightening & Perfecting Bronzer
One of the things I love about spring is introducing a really great bronzer into your makeup regimen. The Too Faced Peach Leopard Bronzer is perfect for this, and then some. It not only gives your skin a nice light and natural bronze glow, but the peach tones help to brighten your complexion as well. This little double-duty beauty will also help neutralize redness and blotchiness in your skin. I know what you're thinking; does it vaccum my floor and do my laundry too? Not quite, but give it time.
