Spring will be here before you know it, and to give you makeup a little bit of an early kick Urban Decay will release their Spring 2009 Collection on February 1st. From cream eyeshadows to vibrant and sometimes shimmery eye liner or a new lipstick shade, you will be in the mood for sunshine, flowers, and warmer days ahead. So start to pack up your winter shades and get ready to say hello to spring!

Spring Eyeliner

Heavy Metal Glitter Liner - If you're a big fan of their Glitter Liner then get ready for the new additions for spring, but with some heavy metal added. These liners go on very easily, look phenomenal, and dry quickly so you won't get bits of glitter where you don't want it. The new shades are Midnight Cowboy, Groupie, Catfight, and (my favorite) Stagedive. So release your inner rock star this spring and try some of the new Heavy Metal Glitter Liners.

24/7 Glide on Eye Pencil - Everyone loves Urban Decay's 24/7 Glide on Eye Pencils because of their fabulous color and their long lasting power. Now for spring, they have come up with four exotic and beautiful new shades. Ransom, Graffiti, Underground, and (my fave) Flipside just scream spring fun. As we all know pastels are always big in spring, but this year so are vibrant hues such as blue, aqua, and even fuchsia or pink. So my advice is don't be afraid of the new vibrant shades, instead embrace your daring side and see which on will be your new favorite shade.

Spring Eyeshadow

Cream Shadow - This wonderfully little tube of shadow will be available in 12 gorgeous shades so everyone can find a new color for spring. From subtle to vibrant, Urban Decay wants to take you back to the 70's with this iconic eyeshadow. The great thing, besides the range of colors, is the fact that it doesn't flake, crease, or settle into lines. Plus, it's waterproof but is very comfortable and easy to blend. For added fun, try mixing some of the shades to come up with your own spring hue!

Sin Eyeshadow Primer Potion - For those of you that absolutely love Urban Decay's regular Eyeshadow Primer Potion, wait until you get your hands on the new Sin Eyeshadow Primer Potion. It's a great little two-in-one eye primer that also gives you a beautiful and shimmery eyeshadow color that is perfect for both spring and summer. The kicker is that you can use it alone or under your other eyeshadow colors. I love products that cut out a step in the morning, so Sin is now my new best friend.

Spring Lips

Midnight Cowboy Lipstick - This beautiful lipstick shade was inspired by Urban Decay's Midnight Cowboy Eyeshadow. It is a sheer lipstick that gives your lips a slight and subtle flush of color. Its neutral tone will go well with almost every lip pencil or lip stain, and you'll be able to wear it with everything. So trim down your lipstick collection this spring and go for the one shade that will work with everything! Your lips and your wallet will love you for it.
