•Colour Surge Eye Shadow Stay Matte, $17.50
Clinique's NEW Colour Surge Eye Shadow Stay Matte is a wonderful new matte eyeshadow with buildable and easy to blend colors. I got to test drive two of the nine NEW shades and thought they went on very easily, blended nicely, and stayed in place well. I found that "French Vanilla" was a perfect neutral tone that I can wear alone or as a really nice matte base for other eyeshadow colors. On the opposite side of the spectrum I tried out "Stone Violet" which was a very pretty taupe-plum tone. This color would be fabulous for a smoky eye look, especially since the color was buildable but still blended nicely. The formulation and color range is great for any age and skin type, so Clinique's NEW Colour Surge Eye Shadow is a definite must-have for fall.
•High Impact Lip Colour with SPF15, $14.00
Clinique's NEW High Impact Lip Colour is a next-generation lipstick that turns out to be a great little multi-tasker. The lipstick is feather-resistant, long lasting, and also contains an SPF 15 to help protect the delicate areas of your lips. I tried four different colors from the 20 different colors offered. My new favorite for fall is "Rose Spectrum", which is a beautiful rosy wine color, but if you are in search of a really beautiful true red then you should check out "Red-y to Wear" and "Citrus Rose". Overall, the texture and feel of the lipstick was very comfortable and nice, while lasting without drying out my lips. In my opinion, Clinique's newest lipstick will leave a definite Impact on everyone this fall.
•Defining Liner for Lips, $14.00
Clinique's NEW Defining Liner for Lips is another multi-tasking product, just like their NEW High Impact Lip Colour. The lip liner is very long wearing, yet it goes on very smooth and feels very moisturizing on the lips. The bonus with this lip liner is that is comes with a built-in sharpener so you don't have to worry about digging for the one at the bottom of your bag anymore. I tried two of the four fabulous colors and absolutely loved both of them. "Red-y or Not" is a perfect true red lip liner that could be paired with several of the new lipstick colors or used alone with a little lip stain or lip gloss. I also tried "Sugared Fig" which is a fabulous nude tone that can be worn under any lipstick color or gloss. NEW Defining Liner is a definite must-have for fall.
•Blushwear Cream Stick, $18.50
Clinique's Blushwear Cream Stick could be labeled as another one of the multi-taskers for the season. Even though Clinique is marketing it solely as a natural blush color, I also tried the stick on my lips and loved it. The Blushwear Cream Stick can be applied to your cheeks to give you that healthy hint of color to your cheeks. It goes on creamy and turns to powder, plus the color is buildable without looking fake or cakey. I tried "Very Blush", which is a Limited Edition color, and loved how easily it went on my cheeks and how natural it looked. I also tried it on my lips, which worked kind of like a lip stain, and then followed up with a nice gloss to give it more moisture. The color had great lasting power and never looked dry or unnatural on my cheeks or lips throughout the day. Basically, Clinique's Blushwear Cream Stick is a definite to have in your makeup bag since it's great for all skin types and skin tones. Blushwear Cream Stick is available in three great shades for fall, so finding your perfect match will be easy.
