Face of a Goddess
I'm a push over for illuminators, so I thought the Bronze Goddess SunBlush Illuminator was a perfect combination of blush and illuminator. It's really great since you can use it alone or over a regular bronzer to get that sun-kissed glow to your cheeks or anywhere else you want that fresh-from-the-beach look. The Matte, Shimmer, and Duo Bronzers are great little pick-me-ups that will give you that warm and bronzed goddess look. With three different selections, you will undoubtedly find the perfect one for you. Finally the Bronze Goddess Luminous Liquid Bronzer was a little shocking to my oh so pale winter skin. I could definitely envision beautifully glowing bronze shade on other skin tones, but as for myself I could only use it as an enhancer to my foundation or mixed with my everyday moisturizer for a touch of luminescent color.
Eyes of a Goddess
Talk about colors that scream bronze and goddess. The Bronze Goddess Sand and Sea Eyeshadow Palette has six very different shades and is encased in a faux leather compact. The cool Turquoise and Aqua shades remind me of the deep blue hues of the ocean, while the four warmer tones help to bring out the inner bronze goddess of summer. The Duo Tone Eye Pencil matched the Turquoise and Aqua eyeshadows very well, and the textures of the pencils themselves are very soft and luxuriant feeling on the eyes.
Lips and Nails of a Goddess
My favorite part of the Lip and Nail section is the New Pure Color Gloss Stick. I'm normally not a fan of orange-toned lip color but I absolutely love Orange Poppy. The texture is perfect, it helps plump your lips ever so slightly, and the color is a modern and hip version of the classic coral hues. Pop Pink is equally as fabulous and actually changed from bright fuchsia pink to a very nice deep pink on my lips. If you need some extra shine then try one of the three High Gloss shades of the same shade, plus an additional shade called Golden Goddess. Speaking of Golden Goddess, this is also the shade of the limited edition nail lacquer for the collection, as well as the hue of the Pure Color Long Lasting Lipstick.
Other Goddess Must-Haves
Bronze Goddess self tanning collection goes on very smoothly without leaving a sticky after feel or any unwanted residue on your skin. The self tanner develops very quickly and evenly on your skin, giving you a beautiful and very natural-looking tan. If you want a little extra then try the Self Tanning Gelee. It gives your skin a nice sun-kissed bronze splash of color while you wait for the self tanner to develop. Once you have finished bronzing your skin, don't forget to spritz on a soft and airy scent, such as Bronze Goddess Eau Fraiche Skinscent. I didn't think that I would like this fragrance too much, but I absolutely love it. It's very light and airy and reminds me of the beach and warm days of summer. The fragrance is a blend of Bergamot, Tahitian Gardenia Petals, Coconut, Amber, and Sandalwood. It is also available in a lightweight body oil and a body lotion with built in luminescent glow. So even if you can't be on the beach, at least your senses can take you there momentarily.
