Every change of season brings new colors and new makeup products. In a sea of endless shades, colors, and packages there are certain ones that stand out. While most colors are simply recycled shades from previous seasons, there are some unique and new must-have makeup products that you should grab for your makeup collection.
Too Faced So Smurfy Illuminating Face Powder
I absolutely love this powder for three reasons. First, the cute packaging with Smurfette is iconic and takes me back to childhood. Second, it gives a natural looking glow and soft highlight to your skin instead of looking like you stuck your face in a bowl of glitter. And third, the strategically placed color tones help with redness, sallowness, and dullness in the skin so you look fabulous with a couple sweeps of the kabuki.
Clinique's Redness Solution Instant Relief Mineral Powder
I have to say that I was skeptical about this product when I read about it. After trying it though I wondered where it was all of my life. You can use the yellow-toned powder alone or over your makeup and it instantly takes away any redness in the skin. It also keeps your skin cool and is perfect for people with mild-to-moderate Rosacea. The kicker is that it also smells really good.
Urban Decay Sin Eyeshadow Primer
Their original eyeshadow primer was terrific, but Sin has a beautiful peachy-neutral shimmer so you don't have to worry about adding eyeshadow on top of it. I think it's a great time saver and multi-tasker, especially for the busy woman on the go (Read Review).
Clinique's New Quick Blush
I chose this blush product because it is so compact and easy to drop in your back and go, without any mess. The blush is in the cap and includes a brush so all you have to do is twist and apply. I'm all for quick an easy makeup for my busy non-stop life (Read Review)
L'Oreal Double Extend Beauty Tubes Mascara
I reviewed this earlier, but I just can't say enough about this mascara. It's a little scary at first because it looks like you've pulled your lashes off when you try to wash it away, but I can't help but to say how natural and professional it makes my lashes look. In my opinion this mascara tops all of the rest, including the high-end brands (Read Review).
