Guide Review - Review of Cover Girl LashBlast Mascara

After hearing all of the hype about how great this mascara was, I decided to take it upon myself and buy one. First, I was shocked over the low price, and as luck would have it I also had a coupon from the Sunday paper. Once I got home and tried the mascara, I would have to say that it was definitely money well spent. In all actuality I would probably have paid the full price and then some, if I knew then what I know now. Basically, if you are looking for the longest and thickest lashes you can get, then you definitely need to try Cover Girl LashBlast mascara.

The mascara definitely lived up to its statements by volumizing each and every lash on my eyes. Normally with extreme volumizing mascara your lashes may either clump together or you end up with terrible smudges on your eyes. With LashBlast, it coated every lash while separating at the same time. So there were no clumps and no yucky smudges to wipe away either. Even with the bottom lashes, the brush reached each one, from root to tip, with no mess and no problem. Another great thing about LashBlast is that it didn't irritate my eyes, even with my contacts in. And when I was ready for bed, it washed away easily with my regular facial cleanser and water. Talk about convenient!

The bottom line is this; if I were Maybelline I may begin to worry that Cover Girl may have set a new standard for mascara. One day soon, we may begin to see the little pink and green mascaras tossed aside, only to be replaced with the big orange. But that's okay because change is good, and when it’s in the name of beauty it can never be a bad thing.
