Guide Review - Review of 29 Cosmetics VARIETALS Hydrating Foundation
While searching for a truly fabulous makeup line for mature skin, I found 29 Cosmetics. There line screamed younger skin, and the concept of the use of grape seed extract piqued my curiosity. So after I contacted their PR department, I requested samples of their best items which included VARIETALS Hydrating Foundation.
The packaging is very simple and attractive, while the bottle is beautiful and classic. The foundation itself was phenomenal. It was very light yet creamy and it made my skin look flawless yet slightly dewy and radiant. Some foundations that work as a high definition foundation can be somewhat drying, but not VARIETALS. I don't have many lines yet, but the parenthesis lines around my mouth that are forming fast were nearly erased. It also evened my skin tone, concealed my freckles, and made the pores in my T-zone seem minimal.
The really great thing about this foundation, besides the built-in SPF 15, is the grape seed extract. I absolutely love having anti-oxidants in the products I use on my skin and 29 Cosmetics delivers with their products. Also, I am normally a big Chanel foundation fan, but I have to say that 29 Cosmetics definitely gave Chanel a run for their money with this foundation. The bottom line is that anyone would love this foundation. If you have young skin then the anti-oxidants and SPF will help to keep your skin looking young. If you have maturing skin then you can reap the benefits of light reflectors, which is a plus. But everyone can benefit from hiding fine lines and wrinkles. After all, who doesn't want to look younger than they actually are?
