Guide Review - Review of Everyday Minerals Peach Color Corrector
Like most women, I tend to always have some darkness under my eyes, no matter how many hours of restful sleep I may get. After reading several glowing reviews of Everyday Minerals Peach Color Corrector on the MakeupAlley forums, I decided to give it a try. The results were decidedly mixed.
The concealer is easy to apply, and since its a powder, theres no need to rub it into that sensitive under-eye area, as you might need to do with a liquid or creamy concealer. But in order to even out any of the darkness I had to brush on multiple layers of the powder. I also made the mistake of not using any kind of primer under my eyes the first time I tried it, which led to a streaky application.
After applying 3-4 layers I figured that was as good as it was going to get, and moved on to apply my mineral foundation. The peach concealer blended in well with the foundation, so Im wasn't left with noticeably weird peach rings under my eyes. But the final look wasnt exactly what I was hoping for. The darkness was definitely minimalized, but not gone. Ill continue to use my supply until it runs out, but I wont be reordering once it does.
