Guide Review - Review of Everyday Minerals Mint Color Corrector

No matter how well I cleanse my face, or how hard I try to not touch my face during the day, I always seem to have a blemish or two that needs some disguising. A makeup-savvy friend of mine clued me in to using a green concealer to hide redness on my face, and once she assured me I wouldn’t look like The Incredible Hulk, I decided to give it a try. I initially tried another brand of creamy concealer, but found that while it did somewhat reduce the redness on my face, it was hard to blend into my skin and didn’t really cover that well. Then once I put my creamy foundation over it, I was left with a very unnatural and caked-on look.

Luckily, I decided to give Everyday Minerals a try, thanks to their offer of a free sample kit. You can get one concealer in the sample kit, so I decide to give going green another try with their Mint Color Corrector. And that may be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made (makeup-wise, anyway).

The concealer is a light, minty green powder that brushes on easily, blends in flawlessly with your foundation, and conceals redness all day long. Just the tiniest bit of powder is needed to cover any blemishes or red spots (I use a small eye shadow brush to apply mine), so be sure to apply with a light hand, unless you relish looking like the Wicked Witch of the West. Since so little of the product is needed per application, your supply will last for ages. I’m still using the sample size I received weeks ago, and it looks like it’ll last me several months. So whatever size you choose, you’ll definitely get your money’s worth. Even if you’re one of those lucky women whose blemishes are few and far between, this is a great product to add to your arsenal for those occasions when a bit of creative camouflaging is needed.
