Guide Review - Review of Clinique Superbalm Moisturizing Gloss

I am a certified lip gloss addict, so when it comes to new colors in gloss I am there. I like to have different types of lip gloss, since there is not a single lip gloss that does everything. Clinique's Superbalm Moisturizing Gloss is one that I recently added to my addiction. Clinique has come out with four new Limited Edition shades to compliment their Summer 2008 Collection, and they are a definite must-have to help restore moisture to your lips.

Recently I received a sample of Clinique's Superbalm Moisturizing Gloss in Guava. I love Guavagold in their Long Lasting Glosswear line, so I was very eager to try the new Superbalm color. The color in the tube was very pretty and when I applied it on my lips I loved the color. The first thing I noticed, besides the color was the consistency. The Superbalm felt thicker than regular lip gloss, which makes sense because it's kind of like having a lip gloss and lip balm mixed together.

I loved the moisturizing properties as well as the color of the Superbalm, and I was surprised to see that it lasted a couple of hours on my lips during normal wear. If Clinique could find a way to keep the benefits of Superbalm while combining it with their Long Last Glosswear, they would have one of the best lip glosses on the market. But until then, if you experience dry, chapped and cracked lips often, then you should think about tossing out your regular lip balm and getting Clinique's Superbalm Moisturizing Gloss.
