Guide Review - L'Oreal Infallible Never Fail Lipgloss
L'Oreal Paris came out with their Infallible line, and once the Never Fail Lipcolour was a hit, they introduced the fabulous lip gloss version. This was a great idea since lip gloss is a definite must-have right now. The Infallible Never Fail Lipgloss goes on very easy, with the great little heart-shaped applicator, and lasts for at least 4-6 hours.
Recently, I received this new lip gloss from L'Oreal, and decided to wear it on several different days and occasion in order to give it a good "test run". Basically the lip gloss was very creamy, which was surprising, since I thought it would be thicker in order to last for so long. There was a slight berry scent, which reminded me of my Lip Smackers days in grade school. However, there was no apparent taste, and the scent did dissipate after a few moments. The lip gloss didn't last as long on the days I was wearing it during lunch or dinner, but that's fairly obvious. During regular talking, snacking, and drinking the lip gloss really did as it promised and really didn't fail. There are several favorites with this lip gloss, including the easy to use applicator (you won't need a mirror to apply it), the wide variety of shades in four different color categories, and the long-lasting power even though it wasn't heavy on my lips.
In my opinion, if L'Oreal would add an SPF, this would be the perfect lip gloss. The shine wasn't too slippery, the gloss was very moisturizing, and it actually stayed in place like they said it would. The really great thing is that you can use it to top their Infallible Lipcolour and you would have a double-whammy on staying power, so to say. Basically, I have 2 new favorite lip glosses for the summer and this is definitely one of them.
