Next you can add shimmer to the smokey eye. You don't have to do this step, but shimmer is "in" and it makes your eyes look fabulous. Here we used two different variations of shimmer. The image shown in this step shows a close-up of a blue/green shimmer. The final step will show blue/green shimmer on the right side and a silver-taupe shimmer on the left. Basically, you can add whatever color or shimmer you like.
For this tutorial and the close-up eye we use Von Natur Mineral Eyeshadow in White Sapphire on the lid. This color is a pearlescent shade and actually made the dark taupe-brown general shadow turn into a shimmery blue hue. This color was added to the lid and under the eye area as well. For under the eye area we used the Bare Escentuals Double-Ended Precision Brush, so the mineral eyeshadow didn't end up everywhere. We then added a little Von Natur Mineral Eyeshadow in Tsavorite on the crease and under the brow bone area to give it some depth and some nice shimmer at the same time. Once that was applied we slightly blended the crease area with the lid. Once blending is done, don't forget to add a little highlighter on your brow bone and at the inside corner of your eyes. Here we used a white shimmer from a product called BonBons Eyeshadow Dust in White, but you can use Wet n Wild MegaShimmer Body Powder in White Lotus (Vendor Site) instead.
