I think every single woman that is passionate or even addicted to makeup is constantly on the lookout for something or someone to help them with their every beauty need. I am just like the rest of you, so I was more than eager to request a copy of Bobbi Brown's newest book the "Bobbi Brown Makeup Manual". After reading the hype about this new edition of the Bobbi Brown beauty books, I was almost chomping at the bit to get it.
The book is broken up into two sections, one for basic makeup tips and techniques and the other for more advanced techniques and tips for breaking into the industry. Basically, I don't think there is a thing Bobbi Brown missed with this one. The basic section goes through each area of the face and gives wonderful tips and techniques that anyone can master. She also shows some really wonderful step-by-step applications that show the picture of each step. Bobbi even goes over the tools and equipment you should have, a full 10-step pictorial guide on how to get perfect makeup, and even a section for specific makeup looks for such occasions as weddings and during pregnancy. The second section gives suggestions on how to break into the industry, what professional equipment you should have, and then some really great advanced makeup tips and techniques. If nothing else, the pictures are very vivid and beautiful.
The bottom line is that the new "Bobbi Brown Makeup Manual" is the next beauty bible of the makeup industry. Bobbi covers every nook and cranny of the art of makeup application, but on the level that even a makeup novice could follow and understand. If there is only one beauty book you can add to your library, it should be the "Bobbi Brown Makeup Manual".
