Guide Review - Review of Soap & Glory Flake Away Scrub
After trying Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter and falling in love with it, I was eager to try some of the other products as well. Who couldn't use a great body scrub, right? So I decided to try Soap & Glory Flake Away body polish. I have found many scrubs in the past to be too grainy, too rough, or not rough enough. Just like the story of Goldie Locks, Soap & Glory Flake Away was just right.
When I first opened the retro-chic pink container, I almost wanted to grab a spoon and take a bite. The scrub looks like a luscious natural cane sugar mix and it had a very light yet clean, slightly fruity smell. As it turns out, Flake Away actually contains sugar and peach seed, so this is why it smelled so yummy. The real test would be actually trying it out in the shower to see if it did the job or not.
After using the scrub a couple of times for a week I can't express enough how much I loved and how much my body thanks me for using it. I have fairly sensitive skin, which sometimes can get irritated or even break out if I apply certain products. The Soap & Glory Flake Away body polish was perfect since it was gentle enough to exfoliate without irritation and wasn't too moisturizing to clog my pores. I even tried giving myself a mini-pedi in which I used the scrub on my feet. All I can say is that I had very happy feet when I was done. The bottom line is that Flake Away is a definite must-have for giving you a spa-like exfoliation, and when you couple it with The Righteous Butter your skin won't know what hit it.
