Guide Review of Bite Beauty Line & Define Lip Primer
Initially I first heard of Bite Beauty, and their lip products containing resveratrol, on The Today Show with Kathie Lee and Hoda. Kathie Lee showcased Bite Beauty Lush lipstick as one of her “favorite things”. I loved the idea of having a creamy and beautiful lipstick that also contains 10 mg of resveratrol. So when I was contacted by their PR representative about testing their Lush Lip Tint and Line & Define Lip Primer I was more than happy to oblige. So to kick off my review of both products, I thought I should begin with the lip primer since it should be applied first anyway.
Just in case you missed it, the Bite Beauty Line & Define Lip Primer also contains resveratrol! This ingredient is found in their lip products and treatment products, so the primer also contains this wonderful anti-aging ingredient. This gives the lip primer an instant boost in the positive category, as well as the rest of their product line. So to begin, I tested the lip primer over numerous days with a day in-between each just in case of a possible allergic reaction. I am happy to say that there was absolutely no allergic reaction what-so-ever, so that is a huge plus.
I have to admit that I fell head-over-heals in love with this product, even with the first application. The formulation of added Jojoba oil and argan oil makes it very nourishing and moisturizing on the lips. At the same time it really does work well as a primer for your favorite lipstick, lip gloss or even lip stain. The application is very easy, by starting at the center of your lips and then working your way outward towards the outer corners of your mouth. I did a slight blot-rub after applying and then immediately applied my favorite lip gloss. The slight mint sensation was very nice on my lips, but not overpowering, and the lip gloss really did last a lot longer throughout the day than without the primer. I would say that my regular lip gloss lasted four or more hours, instead of the normal hour or two. I also tried the primer with Pixi’s Lip Blush, and my favorite red lipstick. Both stayed on virtually all-day, which is much longer than without the primer. As a bonus the packaging is also really nice because of the innovative built-in tool at the base that sharpens the primer with a simple twist. Overall the texture, ingredients, wearability, price, and packaging makes the Bite Beauty Line & Define Lip Primer a definite must-have for any lip color fanatic.
