There is always something new coming out in the world of makeup and beauty, but this summer Estee Lauder is featuring something that is perfect for everyone, especially if you LOVE Sensuous. Since it's their 1-year anniversary of the launch of Sensuous they have released some really great Limited Edition products (Buy Direct) including Sensuous Velvet Body Crème, Sensuous Sheer Body Oil, and (my favorite) Sensuous Touch-On Solid Perfume Necklace (Far left in picture). Some people may think that wearing a golden locket the size of a silver dollar on a silky purple cord would be a fashion don't, but I have to tell you that this perfume necklace is a brilliant idea. You can clearly dab the solid perfume and apply it to all of your pulse points throughout the day, but the really cool thing is that you can smell the fragrance just by wearing the locket. Okay, if you don't like the cord that comes with it then add it to your own favorite necklace and go with it. Personally I think it's a great idea since the solid perfume will also last in the locket for a long time, so it's something great to have if you seem to run through sprays like they're water.
The Limited Edition Sensuous Anniversary Collection isn't the only new products from Estee Lauder though. Aerin Lauder has also released a new fragrance, Private Collection Jasmine White Moss (Compare Prices). It's Aerin's 3rd fragrance released in the Private Collection and is a white bouquet with a mossy and rich wood feel. When I tried it I could definitely smell the floral side, which isn't my kind of scent (I like earthy and warm scents mostly) but it was fresh, clean, and definitely something I would give my mother or mother-in-law. I will say that the bottle is just plain beautiful with its streamline design and wonderful semi-precious stone accents. The really cool thing is that each set of stones are specially selected for each cap, making each bottle unique. So I would give it as a gift or showcase it on my shelf of fragrances, but personally can't wear it because it had too much Jasmine and an overall floral scent for my taste. Both collections are currently available on the Estee Lauder website, as well as various counters nationwide.
