Mineral Makeup Heads-Up
Mineral makeup is big right now, especially if the makeup line is all-natural. So today I'm going to give you a heads-up on two mineral makeup lines; one is very well known and the other is not-so-much, yet. Basically I have been knee deep in mineral makeup lately, trying different foundations, blushes, finishing powders, eyeshadows, and even brushes. I want to find the best mineral makeup for all of you, and give you different price ranges to choose from as well.
So today I am going to focus on Bare Minerals, a very well known mineral makeup line, and Everyday Minerals, an internet-based line. I reviewed both lines and found they worked well, went on easily, and looked natural yet flawless. I love the idea of the instructional DVD with Bare Minerals, especially for those that have never tried mineral makeup before. With Everyday Minerals I loved the large sizes, small prices, and the flat top brush is a definite must-have.
So what's the big difference between the two lines? Three major things separate them: 1) Price 2) Size 3) Ingredients. Basically, Everyday Minerals is affordable, have large containers to buy, and are 100% all-natural and organic, plus they have also signed the "Compact for Safe Cosmetics". On the other end of the spectrum, Bare Minerals is easier to find, since it is sold in stores and they also have their own free-standing stores. They are higher priced than Everyday Minerals, but they also have many kits and an instructional DVD to help you get started. Really, no matter which of these two lines you choose, your face will love you for it in the end.

I’ve been using Everday Minerals for over a year now and can’t say enough about it. I love the free samples that you can get to make sure you get the right foundation colors, and the eye shadow kits are amazing! They have a loyal, long term customer in me, that’s for sure.
Another Everyday Minerals user here. What I like best about Everyday Minerals is that it doesn’t contain the filler Bismuth Oxicloride which causes many womens faces to itch. Bare Minerals uses this filler, Everyday Minerals does not. I also find the finish of Everyday Minerals to be more natural and less tinny and shiny looking. Bare Minerals accentuates my fine lines and pores, Everyday Minerals does not.
